Some battered old QUAD II valve amplifiers get a cosmetic and electrical make over — A pair in black hammerite are oversprayed with silver to give a grey similar to the original colour but with a light textured finish — A pair of apparently "Concordant" modified QUAD IIs get restored back to the original QUAD circuit and a pair are finished in ALL black including both new output terminal posts and fitted with a triode driver stage
A pair of "Concordant" QUAD II gets put back to EF86 circuit	The Original 1992 "QUAD Mods" pair get an update in 2000	QUAD II Triode Driver AKA The "BLACK PAIR"
